What happens when you leave your car
in one place for over a week during the heaviest
snowfall in 62 years? You lose your car! You
won't be able to find it because it will
be buried. This happened to a co-worker who
was away on business and it took a team of people
to dig it out for him for fear it wouldn't be seen
until March! |
After a little probing to find it, Nakagawa-san locates
the car and begins to dig it out.
Yasuhiro-san joins in the dig.
Snow is light and fluffy when it falls but when it
piles up, it is very heavy. The car's tires
are almost flat because of the weight of the snow
on top of the car.
More shovels and more people come to help. Young
Sato-san joins the battle.
Finally, Katakura-san brings in a snow blower to help
because it is starting to get dark.
We're almost there now and we can get to the driver's
side (right side in Japan!) and crank the car.
With a little push from Yasuhiro-san and smoke from
the reluctant car, it begins to move!
At long last, the car is free! Mission accomplished!
