| The first day or so, Audrey and I decided to relax on beautiful Makena beach not far from Kihei. However, we got there at the wrong time of the day when the trade winds were blowing hard. While rubbing suntan oil on Audrey I took my wedding band off (so as to not get suntan oil and sand in it). Well, the beach towel I set my ring on blew off and my ring was tossed into the sand. 25 very tense minutes later after being on my hands and knees sifting through the sand, I miraculously found my ring. We'll never forget Makena beach! |
