Guam Trip - dinner cruise and Sunsets

On our Anniversary night, Audrey and I took a sunset dinner cruise aboard the Stars & Stripes.  It was a very nice catamaran.

Here's the happy still newlywed couple aboard the boat heading out of the harbor.

Another view of the sky heading out of the harbor. We were surprised when we realized we were only one of two American couples aboard the entire boat holding about 75 people!  The rest were tourists from mainly Japan, China, and Korea.

We had a magic show, singing and a conga line after dinner.  Everybody aboard was very friendly.  The Captain of the boat is a Merchant Marine and is a very nice guy.  He was so thrilled that he had a couple of Americans on board.  He said we were one of the very few couples to ever come out in his many years in the business.  He even invited us out the next night for free but unfortunately we had plans for the next night.

Beautiful Sky!

Audrey and I enjoyed many beautiful sunsets in Guam.  This is taken from Two Lovers Point.  It is on the opposite end of Tumon Bay from our hotel. As you can see it is very high up!  That is a wedding chapel to the right of the rainbow.

Here we are a the very edge of the point with Audrey holding on for dear life.

The high elevation of the point affords a bird's eye view of the horizon and the sunset.  Can  you see the rain falling from the clouds and the boat near the center of the photo traveling from right to left?

Thank God for beautiful sunsets!
