Welcome to the astrophoto portion of our site. Click on the links above to get to the individual pages. I have left some room for added expansion (that's the optimist in me). All photos on the site that were taken through a telescope were taken through an 8" Meade LX-90 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with the exception of the newest Jupiter photos which were taken with a 5" Meade ETX-125 Maksutov-Cassegrain (my new little traveling scope). See individual descriptions for the different cameras I have used. Of course over time the technology and technique have both improved. Currently I use a Philips Toucam Pro II PCVC 840K web cam and a Canon 40D DSLR.
